ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT IZOD INDYCAR SERIES NOTES AND QUOTES, POST-QUALIFYING KENTUCKY INDY 300

MARCO ANDRETTI, #26 TEAM MEIJER CAR

"The Meijer car was way loose, there definitely was something wrong - we missed something in the set up and that opening lap killed us. This is more of a handling track and there is more emphasis on car balance. Ideally we'll have a strong enough car tomorrow that our starting position won't matter."

RYAN HUNTER-REAY, #37 TEAM IZOD CAR

"We took a pretty aggressive approach to qualifying. The track gripped up and definitely got looser. That, combined with the changes we made - the car was just too loose. It gave me a little warning sign down in turns three and four, and then coming into (turn) one it did a big wiggle and that was it."

TONY KANAAN, #11 TEAM 7-ELEVEN CAR

"I don't know what to say. After Ryan (Hunter-Reay) crashed, we made some changes to my car and we probably overreacted. We've got a big hole to dig out of tomorrow night."

DANICA PATRICK, #7 TEAM GoDaddy.com CAR

"I know as a whole team we thought our cars were better than how we qualified today. I was having a solid run on the first lap until turns three and four where I had a major washout. I'm not sure if the strong wind played a part in it or what. During tomorrow night's race I'm going to have to be patient and work the GoDaddy car through the field to get the result we want."
