Scott Dixon -- No. 9 Target Toyota
"It was a pretty good run. We'll be starting up front and it's easier to stay away from the mess at the start of the race. Team Target has done a great job all year long in both qualifying and the races and I'm excited to get out there on Sunday and see what we can do. I'm also impressed with the job that Toyota has done this season. It's a good day for us, I can't complain. It's another consistent qualifying effort for the team. I think we've been in the top-6 in every race since Homestead, so I can't say enough about these guys."
Tomas Scheckter -- No. 10 Target Toyota
"I'm pretty happy with how we did tonight in qualifying. We didn't work too much on qualifying setup during the day. We were on the pole here back in June, so we had a lot of data to work with. All the guys here at Team Target have been awesome to work with. I was hoping to give them a pole win today, but I'll try my best to give them a race win on Sunday."
Dixon missed his 6th pole of the season by .0009 of a second. It is the second closest margin for the pole win in IRL history. Dixon is tied for the championship lead with Helio Castroneves.
It is the 9th time this season that Dixon has started on the front row.
It is the 15th straight top-6 start for Scott Dixon. It is also the 12th time this season that Dixon has qualified 3rd or better.
In the last 15 races, Scott Dixon's average qualifying position is 2.46 including 5 poles, three seconds, two thirds, a fourth, two fifths and a sixth.
Scheckter recorded his 9th straight starting position of 7th or better.
Team Target has recorded 4 straight front row starting positions.
