Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We didn't get everything out of the XM Satellite Radio car today. We had just put our
new tires on when it went yellow, so we didn't get our new tire run in. There are still a few things that we've got to improve on the car, but it was better than the first session, so we're heading in the right direction."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It felt very good to turn right again. I was joking with my Team 7-Eleven crew before the first session, telling them to put on rain tires and new brake pads, which is the slowest possible combination you can have, because I didn't want to go too fast too soon and hit the wall on my first lap because I was 'over-excited'. We tried a lot of different setups and were quicker as the day went on. It was a good day for us, so I'm very happy about that."
Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I'm really happy to be back racing through the streets. The ArcaEx team did a very good job today. We stepped over the boundary from having a car that understeered to having one that oversteered a bit. But we definitely made it faster throughout the day so I'm very happy about that."
Dan Wheldon, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Obviously, we've got to go a little bit faster. The Klein Tools/Jim Beam team struggled a little bit today and I don't know why. It's a little frustrating, but this is what makes street-course racing fun. We need to find a little more speed because you don't want to start in the middle of the pack in this race."
