Big Tex Trailers, a Texas based trailer manufacturer and related parts supplier, will join the Treadway-Hubbard Racing team for the INDY Racing League event at the Texas Motor Speedway this Saturday as the title sponsor for their #5 entry driven by Rick Treadway.

"We are excited and proud to have Big Tex on board for this race," said Rick Treadway. "We hope the fans will enjoy the race and take a brief departure from their grief."

IRL officials chose to race an abbreviated schedule at the Texas Motor Speedway this weekend in lieu of recent events in New York and Washington. Qualifying will take place on Friday, October 5th at 4pm. (CDT) The race will begin on Saturday, October 6th at 3p.m. (CDT) It will be televised live on ESPN2, 4p.m. (EDT) with a live pre-race show at 11a.m. (EDT)

"We consider our operations to be first class, so it would only be fitting for us to establish this relationship with such a first class race team. We are looking forward to our first race in Texas this weekend."
