Tony Kanaan on the SunTrust Indy Challenge:
"Richmond is definitely the fastest track I've ever done. It's like a roller coaster when you feel the loads on your body; you do that every 15 seconds. It's a lot of fun, but it's also a tough race track and I'll certainly give it everything I have there. We need to have a good run there, for sure, and stay on top of the championship battle."
Eric Cowdin, Race Engineer, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone, on the SunTrust Indy Challenge:
"Richmond presents a two-fold challenge. Being a three quarter-mile, banked, difficult, quick track, to get the setup right, especially for the race, you have to be able to run high lines, low lines and really have a well-balanced car to be able to run several different lines around the race track. The double whammy is that they have repaved the track since we were there last year. From what we can tell, it has a lot of grip and is very smooth. Richmond was notorious for bumps, and now they are gone. With the fact that we haven't tested there since the repaving, and it's a two-day event, we have a lot of work ahead of us. But, that's the advantage to having four cars, and in a group that works well together, we're going to make up ground really fast."
