Grand opening of the Dolphin Adventure opens at the Indianapolis Zoo. World's first completely submerged dolphin-viewing experience allows zoo patrons an opportunity to observe dolphins from a 30-foot-diameter, 12-foot-high underwater viewing dome in the center of the main performance pool.
