"Phoenix has always been a fun track for me and last year's race was a good one. It would be nice to kick start the year on a more positive note than the way our first race ended (accident in Miami). We had a few issues this morning in practice so we didn't get in as many laps as we would have liked but for qualifying, the car was trimmed out in turn 1 and 2 with a little understeer in turn 3 and 4. We'll be good for the race and looking to make our way to the front."

"It was good to come away with a sixth place finish in the first race and I'm looking to improve on that this weekend. Qualifying is a little more important on a short track like this but by the first pit stop it will be anybody's game. I had the fastest lap in the race here last year and I'm confident I have the car set up to make some moves to the front once again. We're definitely more competitive on this track."

"Well I didn't get a lot of laps in the first race of the season but I have been learning a lot and very quickly considering I have only really had 4 days of testing on an oval prior to that first race. I do know Phoenix pretty well now as I have tested twice here. I think we have a very good set up for the race and I'll be looking for opportunities to pass and make my way to the leaders."
