Dixon wins 3rd consecutive pole in Nashville
Scott Dixon -- No. 9 Target Toyota
Qualified -- 1st
Speed -- 206.211 mph
"What can I say, Team Target has done it again. We tested down here last week and learned a lot about the track. It's a very physical racetrack, kind of like Richmond. One thing that will be important here is to conserve your tires. We've been setting a lot of records so far this year, but the championship is what I'm after. If we can keep the car on the track and get some solid finishes, that help us a lot down the road. The cars have been very good all year long, and that's a credit to the team and the engineering staff."
Tomas Scheckter -- No. 10 Target Toyota
Qualified -- 5th
Speed -- 204.482 mph
"My run was pretty good. I was flat out all the way around, so we might have had a little too much downforce on the car. But it's a good starting position for us. We're really hungry for a win this year. We've been close in a lot of races, but things haven't gone our way. I'm looking forward to the race. We have a good car and I'm excited about our chances."
