"I'm excited about competing at Twin Ring Motegi. Obviously, the NYSE team's first two outings didn't end the way we had hoped, so we are definitely looking for a good finish at the Indy Japan 300."

Eddie Jones, Race Engineer, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone, on the Bridgestone Indy Japan 300:
"Motegi is unique in that Turns 1 and 2 are much like a superspeedway with the cars running flat-out. Then you get to Turns 3 and 4, which are more like a short oval where the driver will downshift one or two gears. You need a car that works very well in the slower corner, but also has minimal drag to get through Turns 1 and 2 and down the back straight. Most overtaking is done going down the back straight and into Turn 3, so you need good straight line speed. Motegi definitely presents a compromise in how you set the car up."
