WHELDON TO START FOURTH AT MILWAUKEE IN KLEIN TOOLS/JIM BEAM CAR

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (July 23, 2005) - Dan Wheldon, driver of the #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam car, qualified fourth for Sunday's running of the ABC Supply Co./A.J. Foyt 225 at The Milwaukee Mile. Wheldon recorded a best-lap speed of 168.553 miles per hour (21.6787 seconds).  It is Wheldon's best starting position since he started second at the XM Satellite Radio Indy 200 at Phoenix International Raceway on March 19.

The 225-lap event, the 10th of 17 races on the Indy Racing League® IndyCar® Series schedule, goes green at 2:45 p.m. (EDT) with ESPN providing live coverage beginning at 2:30 p.m. (EDT).

Dan Wheldon, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone:

"The Klein Tools/Jim Beam team is a little bit up against it here.  It seems like we're very close to being flat out around this track, but not quite.  Obviously, the Honda guys are helping out as much as they can and we're all going to work together to make sure we've got good race cars.  You've got what you've got and you have to make the best of it.  This is what makes Milwaukee what it is.  It never goes completely to plan because this track is so difficult."
