Team Wins 4th Consecutive Pole
Tomas Scheckter -- No. 10 Target Toyota
Qualified -- 1st
Speed -- 222.458 mph
"It's great to be on the pole here for the second year in a row. Michigan is a special place for me. I won my first race in America here and it's a track that I really enjoy racing on. We've come close (to winning) a lot this year, things just haven't gone our way. I'm a lot happier this year. I have a great teammate like Scott (Dixon), a great team owner in Chip (Ganassi) and a super group of guys that work on the cars. Toyota is a big reason for our success so far this year. They've given us fast engines and that's a big factor, especially at a track like this one. We've got an all-Target front row to start, hopefully we can have an all-Target front row to finish as well."
Scott Dixon -- No. 9 Target Toyota
Qualified -- 2nd
Speed -- 222.425 mph
"I'm very happy with how things turned out today. It would have been nice to get 4 (poles) in a row, but I try not to think about things like that too much. It's great for Tomas and I to be on the front row again and hopefully we'll both be at the front at the end of the race as well. Team Target is doing an awesome job this year. They have given us great cars and that makes our jobs a lot easier. (On the race tomorrow) It's going to be a lot of fun tomorrow. The cars are all very close and it's going to be a great race. There are a lot of different lines to run here and I'm excited for tomorrow."
