Red Bull Cheever Racing crew member released from the hospital

INDIANAPOLIS - Red Bull Cheever Racing crew member Josh Junge was released from Foote Hospital in Jackson, Mich. on Sunday evening and traveled back to Indianapolis following an incident during the Firestone Indy 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Late in the race, the #33 car lost a wheel following a pit stop, and it traveled into the #83 pit at a high rate of speed and hit him. Junge is the outside rear tire changer for the #83 car of Patrick Carpentier.

"All I remember is something hit me, and I heard a really loud noise. I was thinking when is the rest of the car (not knowing it was a wheel) going to hit me. I am okay but very sore. I feel like I got ran over by a train," Junge said.
