Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It's so frustrating. It's not that often that you get a shot like this to win a race. The Motorola guys did such a good job. We were good in the pits; we were smart with our strategy. My team is great and the Motorola car will win a race soon. I really think we had the car to win the race today, but we didn't and it is very frustrating."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We did not have the fastest car today so this is a great victory. Marco (Andretti) was my wing man today and is my true teammate. He was trying to get me there at the end, trust me. He protected me and we decided it at the end. It's sad that we're not coming back to Michigan but it was a crazy race so there are mixed feelings. Every win is special and this one was great for the 7-Eleven team. I'm just very thankful that Dario is alright and now we've got to continue to try and catch him in the championship and hopefully finish '1-2'."
Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It was an eventful day for the NYSE team today. The balance was really good, but the car was just way too slow. We came in and took the diffuser off and went all the way to the back of the field. That made a difference for us. We just didn't have enough speed like we had in a big pack at the end to get by TK (Tony Kanaan). Overall though I think it showed that we can win any of these races the rest of this season."
Dario Franchitti, #27 Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"When I went upside down, I thought that was it, but then I hit (Scott) Dixon on the way down. I have to thank Scott because he definitely softened the blow. I talked to Dan (Wheldon) about it and he bobbed when I weaved and we just got together. I do want to see the replay of it though. I had a really fast car today. The Canadian Club car was really good and we had a good shot at a win today."
