FORT WORTH-DALLAS (Sept. 21, 1998) - Pep Boys Indy Racing League driver Marco Greco was released from Parkland Hospital Monday morning. Greco was kept overnight for precautionary observation following an incident in Sunday's Lone Star 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Greco was involved in a four-car incident in turn two on the 134th lap of the race. Greco was admitted to Parkland Sunday for precautionary X-rays and tests which indicated no injuries were suffered in the accident.

John Paul Jr. won Sunday's Lone Star 500, his first Indy Car victory in 15 seasons. The Lone Star 500 closed out the major racing season at Texas Motor Speedway.
