Kelley Racing drivers Mark Dismore and Scott Sharp own the second row for Sunday's Radisson 200. Mark Dismore locked down the third qualifying position with a speed of 175.362 mph, while teammate Scott Sharp qualified at 174.953 mph in fourth position. Ironically, Sharp lifted after the first qualifying lap believing he had taken the checkered flag. Sharp and the Delphi team had a good laugh about the mistake.

Mark Dismore #28 OnStar/GM BuyPower/Bryant Dallara:
"I thought before the we went out that we had a decent shot at the pole or the front row. We missed the RPM we wanted by about 100, but I'm still happy to have the point for 3rd. It breaks the tie for 6th and moves the OnStar team into a tie for fifth in points." As for the race: "As usual we focused mainly on our race setup. They give a lot more points and money for the race than qualifying, and we're chasing the championship. I've had a little understeer all weekend, but I'm sure the OnStar guys will work that out. Pikes Peak has been a fuel mileage race in the past, so I'm glad we have Comptech Oldsmobiles."

Scott Sharp #8 Delphi Automotive Systems/Futaba/Worldcom Dallara:
"Oopps. I'm used to taking the green the third time by and I guess I just forgot. It didn't hurt us to bad. I may have had enough to get Diz but not any more than that. We're not worried about it, we were fast and consistent with our racecar yesterday. I'm sure the Delphi car can run up front all day." As for the race:

"Without testing here our main focus of the practice sessions has been race setup. The car was almost perfect in race trim; so I'm expecting the Delphi car to be competitive all day."
