Hattori, 37, made a half spin and hit the outside retaining wall at the exit of Turn 1 of the 2.5-mile oval while testing the EPSON G Force/Oldsmobile/Firestone for newly merged Hubbard/Treadway Racing. Hattori completed 145 laps of testing with a top speed of more than 219 mph.
