VISION RACING TAKES FOURTH THROUGH SEVENTH ON SPEED CHART TODAY
SPEEDWAY, Indiana -- The conditions were cool again today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but Vision Racing's on-track performance proved to be a bit warmer. The team's four entries finished up fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh on the speed chart in practice for the 91st running of the Indianapolis 500.

Fifth fastest was Ed Carpenter in the No. 20 Hitachi Power Tools Special, who completed 43 laps and a top speed over 217 mph.
The "comeback kid," Davey Hamitlon, piloted the No. 02 HP Vision Racing machine for 58 laps and also ran well over 217 mph to record the sixth fastest time of the afternoon.
A.J. Foyt IV took the seventh spot in the team's No. 22 entry. He ran over 217 mph as well, in his 40 laps.
Once again, the team will be on track tomorrow when scheduled practice time for Friday, May 18, begins at noon (ET) and lasts until six p.m.
91st Running of the Indianapolis 500 Practice Results (May 17, 2007) and Quotes:
Tomas Scheckter -- No. 2 Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The conditions weren't the most favorable again today, but we were able to work through it and put up some good times and get some things accomplished. We were still able to go out and accomplish a lot, but still conserve our tires and mileage so it was really a successful day. The crew is just working so hard right now to get everything right and they've been doing a great job, for sure. Hopefully tomorrow the conditions improve a bit and we can work on more race setups."
Ed Carpenter -- No. 20 Hitachi Power Tools Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It's the second day in a row that the weather has kind of not been that great. It's a little cool and the cars have so much downforce in these conditions that it can be a little deceiving when you are working on race setups. So went just went out and worked on a list of things that we wanted to test which really aren't altered by the weather or conditions. Other than that we are just saving some tires up for when it gets a little warmer this weekend."
Davey Hamilton -- No. 02 HP Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Practice was good today. We've got a good consistent racecar and we were able to run with the rest of the team and mix it up a little out there and it felt good. I'm anxious to see how things feel in warmer weather, but I think we'll be fine either way. The HP car is running very well and we are just getting ready more and more each day to go race."
A.J. Foyt IV -- No. 22 Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Things were a little better today. I would still like to find some more speed in the car so we'll keep working on that, but overall I'm pretty happy with how things are going. My crew is working hard to give me a great car for the race and we've been putting in a lot of miles so far this month so we are getting there."
