Kosuke Matsuura, #55 Panasonic ARTA Panoz G Force/Honda/Firestone:
"Today I drove the back-up car. That car was not the same as the primary car, and we were working on a different setup for the backup car. Finally we found quite a similar feeling but today the track conditions were very different from yesterday so speed and aerodynamic balance were different. Everybody is under the same conditions, but we have to work on my chassis for the weather."

Tom Anderson, Managing Director:
"Kosuke had a good day today and I am very pleased with the performance of the backup car. We wanted to do a shakedown and get some laps on it today in order to be able to put it in the qualifying line on Saturday. I'm pleased with the performance of that car and the repeatability given the rain that we had this morning and the different track conditions. We did a late afternoon shakedown on the primary car after the engine change. A good deal of work today and we will go back and concentrate on the primary car tomorrow and look forward to Saturday."
