INDIANAPOLIS -- Robby Gordon practiced more than 100 laps -- over half the race distance -- Thursday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as he continued to work on a race setup on his Meijer/Coca-Cola Dallara-Chevrolet for the May 30 Indy 500. Gordon's best lap speed was 216.416 mph in his unqualified No. 70 Meijer car.

"Our focus is getting ready to race 500 miles," said Gordon, who will be making his 10th Indy 500 start. "I think we've got a good handling package that we can transfer over to the other (qualified No. 70T) car."

Gordon now travels to Charlotte for Friday practice and qualifying for Saturday night's NASCAR All-Star Challenge at Lowe's Motor Speedway, driving the Cingular Wireless Chevy for Richard Childress Racing. He plans to continue race setup testing Saturday at Indianapolis.
