March 30, 2001 – Rockwall, Texas – The Infinity Grand Prix will be held in Rookie of the Year Airton Dare’s hometown on Sunday. He is a Brazilian native but resides in Miami with a community of racers during the race season. When he is not training for upcoming race events, he can be found cutting the waves on his Sea Doo jet ski.

“I look forward to racing at Homestead,” Dare’ says.

“We had very good testing sessions, my friends and family will be there to back me, and I am able to do race promotions in my hometown.”

The team expects hundreds of fans to show their support for Dare’ at the Miami Speedway. A traditional Brazilian samba band is also expected to cheer Dare’ on to victory.

The Homestead race is just one of four hometown races for the team. The inaugural event held in Phoenix is the location of TeamXtreme’s finance offices and the home of the Fisher family, a shareholder in TeamXtreme.

Two races are scheduled to take place at the Texas Motor Speedway, just minutes from the team’s 30,000-sq. ft. shop facilities.

“Our sponsor 1-800 BAR NONE has many important affiliate auto-dealers in the Miami area so this is a big race for TeamXtreme and the 2000 Rookie of the Year, Airton Dare’,” General Manager John Lopes says. TeamXtreme anticipates an exciting season of racing. They look forward to enjoying four out of 13 hometown races complete with the support of hundreds of fans.
