Treadway finishes 24th after impact in turn four

Homestead, FL: Rick Treadway in his #55 Airlink Enterprises entry for Treadway Racing/Spade Motorsports impacted the turn four wall on lap 28 and finished 24th in the season opening Indy Racing event, The 20th Anniversary Grand Prix of Miami. He was uninjured in the incident.

"The car just spun on me," said Treadway. "The wind was really bad in turn four and several drivers had already hit the wall. My spotter told me there was a slow car ahead and I had a good run on the #7 car, but the car in front of me must have taken the air off the wings and around she came. It's to bad. I had a great race car. I have to thank the team for all their support and especially my new sponsor Airlink Enterprises and Spade Motorsports. We just finished the deal this morning and I really wanted to do a great job for them in the first race. We'll go home and be ready to do a better job in Phoenix."

The next event is the Copper World Indy 200 from the Phoenix International Raceway on March 17th.
