CertainTeed and J&L Building Materials To Give Away Racing Trip in Drawing Monday

VALLEY FORGE, Pa., Sept. 30 - A lucky winner and his guest will be attending the Mall.com 500 Pep Boys Indy Racing League season finale at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 17 courtesy of CertainTeed and J&L Building Materials.

Scott Harrington, who drives the CertainTeed #66 Indy car, will pick the winner in a random drawing on Monday, Oct. 4 at J&L Building Materials in Frazer, Pa. The winner and that person's guest will receive tickets to the race, pit passes, airline tickets and hotel accommodations in the Fort Worth area. No purchase is necessary.

Prior to the drawing Harrington and the CertainTeed show car will be on hand at J&L, located at 600 Lancaster Ave. (Route 30), in Frazer, Pa., from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday for autographs, photographs and visits with fans.

Later that day Harrington and the CertainTeed show car will make a similar appearance at Pace Supply, 821 West Fifth St. in Lansdale, Pa., from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Harrington is one of the rising stars of the Pep Boys Indy Racing League. He is in a tight battle for the Sprint PCS Rookie of the Year Award.

A native of Louisville, Ky., who currently lives in Indianapolis, he finished 15th in the 1996 Indy 500 and he was the champion of the Shelby pro Can Am series in 1992. He is a former star of the Formula Atlantic, Sports 2000 and Sports Renault series. Prior to become a race car driver he won several motocross championships.

Harrington owns his own team along with his father, veteran sports car racer Gene Harrington. CertainTeed, one of the largest building materials manufacturers in North America, is the team's primary sponsor.
