Indianapolis, IN (May 5, 1998) - Treadway Racing, along with two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk, is teaming up with The Simon DeBartolo Group and Sullivan's Steakhouse to host a prominent gala charity event on May 17th to benefit The Villages of Indiana.

The Villages is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing emotionally supportive homes and families for abused, abandoned and neglected children. Their goal is for children to become educated, capable of nurturing relationships and self-sufficient participants in society. The goal of the charity gala is to raise a substantial amount of money in support of The Villages cause. With this in mind, ALL proceeds from the evening will be donated to the non-profit.

The event will be held at Sullivan's Steakhouse from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM and features a lavish strolling supper buffet highlighting Sullivan's signature steaks, generous cocktails (open bar) as well as a dessert buffet. To round out the evening, the bar will boast a live jazz trio and a well-stocked cigar humidor.

Some of the activities of the evening include: appearances by Arie Luyendyk, Fred Treadway and many other IRL drivers and owners, a prominent silent auction with donations provided by the various teams and drivers as well as several of the vendors/stores located in the Fashion Mall, a raffle featuring items donated by retail stores and sponsors, and a strolling photographer snapping complimentary photos for guests.

Tickets for this event are still available for purchase. The cost per person is $50.00, all of which will be donated directly to the charity. For reservations please contact Zathoe Sexton at 317-273-7575 (The Villages).
