FISHER ANXIOUS TO RETURN TO HAWKEYE STATE SHORT TRACK

This Weekend Marks SFR's First Start at Iowa Speedway; Fisher's 2nd   NEWTON, IA (June 18, 2010)- Sarah Fisher Racing (SFR) team-owner/driver, Sarah Fisher, will return to the wheel of her No. 67 Dollar General Honda powered Dallara this weekend at Iowa Speedway for the Iowa Corn Indy 250 on Sunday afternoon. Fisher will be making her second career start on the .875-mile banked oval, while it will be her team's first start on the circuit.

This race region carries significance with it for Fisher, as she grew up racing sprint cars at the Knoxville Nationals, just miles away from Iowa Speedway.

"To bring the Dollar General team to Iowa for our first race here is pretty exciting, with the short track fan base I grew up with present," said Fisher. "I haven't been on this surface as a driver since 2007, so with the last minute needs of the Indy Racing Experience for a driver, I will be able to take my engineer Tom Brown for a lap or two before the start of the rides that I will be giving today. The team has worked very hard since the start of May and I think with Iowa being a short track, it's going to be a great place to end our six-week stint."

This weekend's race will mark the 8th race on the 17-race IZOD IndyCar ® Series schedule, and is guaranteed to bring exciting, tight packed, open-wheel racing.
