HOWARD PASSES ROOKIE ORIENTATION TEST; FISHER BACK ON TRACK FOR PRACTICE
Fisher Turns 9 Laps; Howard 57 laps

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 16, 2010)- Sarah Fisher Racing (SFR) driver Jay Howard, pilot of the No. 66 Service Central sponsored car completed all phases of his rookie orientation test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this afternoon. He turned 57 laps on the 2.5-mile oval, located just west of downtown Indianapolis, with a best speed of 222.789 mph. SFR team owner/driver, Sarah Fisher, took to the track in her No. 67 Dollar General machine at 2:30pm, but was only able to get in 9 laps before heading back to the garage area to fix some gear related issues. Rain prevented her from practicing during happy hour.

Sarah Fisher: "I think we only got 9 laps in today, so we didn't really get a whole lot accomplished. We ended up with a gear issue, so we're still trying to make sure we're on top of it there for tomorrow. Hopefully we can get some more laps in and the weather will hold out."

Jay Howard: "Today was an excellent start to our month of May. I want to again thank everyone at Sarah Fisher Racing for all the hard work they do and Service Central for this opportunity. I am optimistic about the rest of the month; it is great to be the fastest rookie. I hope everything continues to go in this direction."

Practice for all Indianapolis 500 entrants will resume from noon-6pm tomorrow.
