RAIN HOLDS OFF; FISHER AND HOWARD RESUME PRACTICE FOR INDY 500
Howard Completes 34 Laps with Best Speed of Month; Fisher 15 Laps

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 18, 2010)- Sarah Fisher Racing (SFR) drivers Sarah Fisher and Jay Howard, returned to practice on the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway today, after yesterday's practice was cancelled due to rain. Howard, who passed his rookie orientation test this past Sunday, turned 34 laps on track today in his No. 66 Service Central car. He clocked his fastest lap of the month so far, this afternoon at 223.691 mph. SFR team owner/driver, Sarah Fisher, completed 15 laps on the 2.5-mile oval in her No. 67 Dollar General machine, before returning to the garage for some mechanical changes to the car. Weather permitting, both SFR drivers will return to practice tomorrow.

Sarah Fisher: "For having the least amount of laps of anyone on track today, the Dollar General car got through a couple of changes that needed to be done for race mode, and we're already finding that having a teammate is invaluable. It's all tire strategy from here."

Jay Howard: "Overall, today was another good day for the SFR Service Central team. The rain held off and we were able to get in a good amount of laps. We learn something new every time we go out there, and I'm confident that we're going to keep progressing."
