One CART team has already started it's winter testing program. Team Kool Green and driver Paul Tracy enjoyed having the Sebring race track to themselves on Tuesday, December 11th.

"We're the only people here so it sort of helps everybody concentrate on their work," stated Kyle Moyer, team manager. "Also, when other cars are here they put down a lot of rubber and the grip level is constantly changing. That's not the case today.

Tracy logged 120-miles without incident in the new Reynard 02i without incident. The team is pleased with the new Reynard 02i which they just received -- making this the first shake down for the chassis. The Honda engine showed no problems during the testing. All-in-all, the team was quite satisfied with the first day of testing. Testing continues Wednesday prior to the break for the holidays.

"We got the car a week ago and it was easy to turn it around in a week. There's been a lot of attention paid to detail by Reynard. There's a lot of changes to the car compared with last year in the aero package and mechanicals, but it's all fine stuff; all little details," Moyer said.

"It was a pretty faultless day, mechanically speaking." Paul really said he noticed the boost reduction (to 34"). It's still pumping plenty of horsepower through it."
