Santa Ana, CA (April 22, 2001)-The always animated and unpredictable Paul Tracy highlighted last weeks "Driven" movie premiere at the Mann's Chinese Theatre on Monday, April 16. By performing several-unplanned ear screeching donuts on Hollywood Boulevard inches from the protective guardrails that divided the screaming fans from the power of his 900hp Champ Car. Never leaving anything on the table and always delivering the goods. He did so by damaging the clutch, overheating the engine and burning the rubber off the tires. Dazzled by the ringing in his ears, the clouds of smoke and circular prints on the asphalt. Pro wrestler/actor "The Rock" was heard saying "Can you smell what Tracy's cooking".

When it was time to walk down the red carpet Tracy did so appropriately dressed for the cover of "Rolling Stone" wearing flashy red leather pants and a black leather jacket. The A list included many celebrity guests such as boxing living legend Sugar Ray Leonard, actress Rose McGowan, Hip-Hop music pioneer/actor LL Cool J and Elisa Donovan from the hit TV show "Sabrina" who made her racing debut at this years Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race in Long Beach, CA. Joining the cast and crew was film composer Brain Transeau known to the musically eclectic as BT. The electronic dance music wizard who ironically is mastering the score for another Hollywood racing film. Universal Pictures "The Fast and The Furious" scheduled to release late June.

Amongst the many guests, were CART "Super Sub" Memo Gidley and the talented Indy Lights points leader Townsend Bell fresh from his third career win at Long Beach. "Driven" co-stars not present were Burt Reynolds and Gina Gershon. Also not attending were Paul Newman, Dario Franchitti and Ashley Judd.

With the success of the premiere, advanced screenings and scheduled events planned nationwide. People across the country eagerly anticipate the film debut, which opens this Friday, April 27.
