HILLIARD, OHIO . . . Race fans throughout central Ohio will have a chance to get an up-close-and-personal, behind the scenes look at Champ Car racing when Team Rahal hosts Fan Fest 2000 on Wednesday, August 9th at Dave & Buster's, 3665 Park Mill Run Drive, in Hilliard, Ohio.
Admission is free to the Team Rahal Fan Fest, which will run from 4 - 7 p.m. The Team Rahal Fan Fest coincides with the CART FedEx Championship Series' stop in central Ohio for the Miller Lite 200, August 10-13 at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Team Rahal drivers Max Papis and Kenny Brack will sign autographs along with three-time CART champion and Team Rahal owner Bobby Rahal. In addition fans will have an opportunity to view the Miller Lite and Shell Champ cars, a Team Rahal transporter and the CART Fan Fest Display trailer which will offer fans an opportunity to learn more about the competitive sport of Champ Car racing.
"This is a great chance for fans to get a behind the scenes look at what goes on with Team Rahal," said Bobby Rahal. "This is a means for us to give our great fan base here in Columbus and central Ohio a preview of the upcoming weekend of racing at one of the great road courses in existence, Mid-Ohio."
Team Rahal is partnering with Miller Brewing Company, Central Beverage Group, Dave & Buster's, the local area Shell retailers, Mills/James Productions-Event TV, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and United Cerebral Palsy of Central Ohio to bring you this exciting and informative event. Each of the co-sponsors will also have race theme displays on-site and discounts on tickets to the Miller Lite 200 will be offered.
Team Rahal is a franchise member of Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART).
