Tony Kanaan, ...
Tony Kanaan, #21 LCI Reynard-Honda:
"We had too much aero on the car and we were stuck to the ground in qualifying. I think we could run a little bit faster, but we are paying for my inexperience. I think we are going to be okay for the race tomorrow."
Indy Lights Race
Airton Dare, #1 Banestado/LCI Lola (Finished 19th - involved in an incident with Mike Borkowski on Lap 47):
"I had the car to win the race. I was in my line and I was following my line and all of a sudden he (Mike Borkowski) touched me with, I think, his front wing and then I spun. I really think I had the car to win this race. I am really disappointed."
Cristiano da Matta, #2 Medley/LCI Lola (Finished Second):
"It is good to be back in the points, especially with the way we started the weekend. We changed everything in the car from yesterday to today, and in the morning warm-up I knew I had a strong car for the race. I could run low, I could run high. The most difficult part of the race for me was making my way from the back to the front. Where Tony (Renna) was is where the good tow was, so we just followed his line. I tried to keep the same line as the quicker cars were going, then I was able to make my way to the front."
