Sunday's Dangerous Curves Looks Back, Looks Ahead, Looks Up, Looks at Stuff

INDIANAPOLIS (October 1, 2004) -- This week's episode of SpikeTV's Champ Car magazine show Dangerous Curves will take viewers on a whirlwind tour that includes not only a trip back in time, but a trip far above the Earth.

The SpikeTV show, which airs Sunday morning at 10 a.m. Eastern Time, will look back at last weekend's Bridgestone 400 Presented by Corona from Las Vegas, which was won by Champ Car World Series points leader Sebastien Bourdais (#2 McDonald's Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone) in one of the closest races in series history.

The Dangerous Curves cameras will then go to the Mojave Desert for last Wednesday's historic Ansari X PRIZE launch. The X PRIZE, which is sponsored in part by the Champ Car World Series, has earned worldwide attention as teams vie for the $10 million prize awarded to the first team that can build and fly a privately-funded vehicle into space. The lone U.S.-based team made a successful first launch on Wednesday and the Dangerous Curves cameras were there to catch all the action, which included a visit from the PKV Racing team.

Viewers will also go between the pages of the new Stuff magazine, which features a photo spread of Bronte Tagliani. The former swimsuit model and the wife of driver Alex Tagliani (#8 Johnson Controls Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone), is the host of Dangerous Curves. In addition, this week's episode will feature a number of Champ Car drivers discussing their favorite race courses.
