KATHERINE LEGGE MAKES CHAMP CAR DEBUT AS TESTING CONTINUES AT SEBRING

SEBRING, Fla. (December 13, 2005) -- It has been a busy month for 2005 Champ Car Atlantic BBS "Rising Star" Katherine Legge as the Briton has tested three different open wheel cars in the last couple of months. Today, she made her Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford debut with Rocketsports Racing at Sebring.

Legge strapped into the 750hp Rocketsports Champ Car just after the lunch break and ran nearly 70 laps before the 1.65-mile track closed posting a best time 53.2 seconds. Today's test was just a shakedown run for Legge who will return to Sebring for a more comprehensive test on December 20 with PKV Racing.

Legge joined six other drivers on track with Richard Lyons also running for Rocketsports. PKV Racing had Ryan Dalziel and Giorgio Pantano running, while Mi-Jack Conquest Racing tested 2005 Champ Car Atlantic Champion Charles Zwolsman, Alx Danielsson and Dan Clarke.

"Today's test was very enjoyable," said Legge. "I think it's a big advantage for me. Today's test wasn't about lap times, it was about getting to know the car and the track. It was incredibly valuable for me. Next week will be more about lap times. I'm very grateful to Paul Gentilozzi and the whole Rocketsports team for the opportunity, it has been a pleasure working with them."

PKV Racing's Ryan Dalziel and Giorgio Pantano led the way today with both drivers running laps at 51.5 seconds. Both Dalziel and Pantano were the only drivers to run less than 52 seconds on a day that saw windy conditions and cool temperatures. Dalziel finished his second day of testing with PKV and was very excited about his results.

"I was quick straight off of the truck this morning," said the Scotsman Dalziel. "We struggled yesterday morning as I worked to rid myself of bad sports car habits. I was able to get up to speed in the afternoon and we carried that over to today. We did a long run on full tanks late in the afternoon and I learned some things. I'm happy with how thing have gone."

For the second straight day three different drivers turned laps for Mi-Jack Conquest Racing. Alx Danielsson was quickest of the three running a best lap of 52.1 seconds. Zwolsman was right with him on the time charts running a 52.2 on his first day of testing at Sebring.

The driver lineup will change again tomorrow as the Sebring test wraps up. The top-two finishers from the 2005 Champ Car Atlantic Championship, Charles Zwolsman and Tonis Kasemets will both test for Mi-Jack Conquest. Giorgio Pantano will be joined by Ryan Briscoe at PKV Racing while Bruno Junqueira will return to the track for Newman/Haas Racing.
