Just a few days after his win in Edmonton, Justin is now heading to California for this weekend's race around the streets of San Jose. A year ago Justin finished 4th, having withstood a war of attrition on a track which was punishing on both cars and drivers and with few overtaking opportunities. Since last year the promoters have made some significant changes to the track layout by providing more run-off at the hairpin and widening a number of the other corners.

"The changes to track layout should give us more overtaking opportunities", comments Justin. "We're also hoping that the railway tracks will be a bit smoother! We were able to finish 4th last year and the #9 CDW team are looking to improve on that this time round, building on the momentum from our Edmonton victory last weekend."

It will also be a busy weekend off the track for Justin. This weekend sees the launch by Champ Car of the new car for next year, the Panoz DP01. The new car is eagerly awaited, as Justin explains in his latest Justin's View. And with San Jose being one of the world's largest high-tech centres, Justin will also be spending more time than usual in the RuSPORT hospitality area with the many CDW and other partners who'll be there to cheer him on.
