Walker Racing comes to the Mario Andretti Grand Prix of Road America race weekend, Round 12 of the Champ Car World Series, off one of the team's best showings of 2003 with Manning collecting his second top-five and Lavin earning a new career-best finish at last weekend's Molson Indy Vancouver. Both rookies look forward to the challenge of Elkhart Lake's 4.048-mile rolling permanent road course and hope to further the momentum the team currently enjoys.

"Elkhart Lake is one of my favorite tracks on the schedule. I've had a couple of races here in Toyota Atlantics, but I expect the circuit will be even more challenging and fun in the Corona Champ Car. It's a smooth track, at least compared to the street circuits, which should be better for the Reynard. Coming off our best finish of the season in Vancouver, we'll be looking forward to building on that momentum at Elkhart Lake."

"I haven't had a chance to visit Elkhart Lake, but everyone's been telling me it's one of the favorites on the schedule. It's a nice long circuit like those in Europe that I've competed on in the past. It's supposed to really be a driver's track so I'm looking forward to showing what I've got in the RAC Walker Racing Champ Car."

Broadcast: HDNet will offer more than 12 hours of live and original programming throughout the weekend at Road America, including extensive coverage on both qualifying days on August 1 and 2, in addition to all of the action on race day, August 3. The broadcasts will be available through HDNet's cable & satellite distributors, including DIRECTV, DISH network, Charter Communications and other cable affiliates. The broadcast will be the biggest undertaking in the history of auto racing in the high definition format, as 16 high definition cameras and two HD mobile units will be spread throughout the 4.048-mile permanent road course to capture all of the action in crystal clear quality.
