Justin looks forward to Road America

With only three races left on the 2006 schedule the Champ Car World Series heads to Road America this weekend. The scenic course, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is over four miles long and has provided good racing in previous years.

With the event omitted from the 2005 schedule, Justin's last race at the famous venue was with Mi-Jack Conquest in 2004. Then a front trackrod worked loose when he was challenging for the podium and he eventually finished 7th.

Justin and the RuSPORT team tested with other Champ Car teams at Road America in August, but their participation came to an early end after Cristiano da Matta's horrific testing accident when he collided with a deer. Cristiano is recovering well, which gives Justin and RuSPORT a reason to be cheerful as they return to the circuit.

"I'm looking forward to getting back to Elkhart Lake", commented Justin. "Obviously, the last time we were there was for the test. Cristiano seems to be making great progress every day and we'll be excited to see him again. As for the race, I think we're in good shape. Hopefully, we can continue our tradition of doing well on road circuits, as we've done throughout the season. We want to put on a good race for Cristiano and also for CDW, since it's a home race track for them and we'll have a lot of support from them this weekend."
