Top Ten for Servia in Provisional Qualifying at Road America

Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin -- August 10, 2007 -- Forsythe driver Oriol Servia salvaged a top ten after a difficult opening day at the Champ Car Generac Grand Prix at Road America as both he and teammate Paul Tracy struggled throughout practice with an ill handling race car. The Forsythe duo worked with the team's engineers throughout an unusually long break between sessions in order to resolve the problems, improvements were made for qualifying but the team still expects to be quicker on Saturday.

"It's been a difficult day for the whole team, the car wasn't where we wanted it right out of the trailer so we had to work quite hard to improve the balance. We got quicker and quicker every lap in qualifying so things are looking up a bit but we still have a lot of work to do. We are going to keep fine tuning the setup and pickup up positions tomorrow."

Paul Tracy #3 Indeck Cosworth/Bridgestone/DP01

"Obviously this isn't where we wanted to be after qualifying, right out of the box the car was very difficult to drive. We just had no grip and the rear kept stepping out, you just couldn't carry any speed through the corners. We made a lot of changes and the car got better but we kinda fell behind the eight ball so now we have to try and catch up."
