Post-Race Quotes

Tony Kanaan, #44 McDonald's Honda-Reynard - Finished 5th: "It was a good weekend overall. Last year, if I was top five, I would be celebrating. This year, it is not good enough. My car was consistent all day but it wasn't the fastest car. I think the other guys maybe had a little less downforce than us. I was looking forward to today, not just because it is in Brazil but I wanted to finish and make some points. I am working for the championship and I think we made a big step today.

"We cannot say that we are having a bad year so far because if it wasn't for Long Beach, we would be top five in the championship right now. So we have to work hard for St. Louis and Milwaukee. The fun is going to start after Milwaukee with the road and street courses. I am looking forward to going back to the left and right turns."

Steve Horne, President: "We had a reasonable day. The car wasn't quite good enough, but we're leaving with some points."
