The RuSPORT squad rolls into Portland this weekend on the momentum of its stellar Milwaukee performance two weeks ago where veteran driver Michel Jourdain Jr. scored the team's first podium and rookie AJ Allmendinger collected an impressive 5th place finish in the team's third Champ Car showing.

American talent AJ Allmendinger is in the habit of giving his dad something to cheer about on Father's Day weekends. Allmendinger climbed to the top of the podium at Portland contesting the Barber Dodge Pro Series in 2002 and at Laguna Seca piloting a Toyota Atlantic car in 2003.

Michel Jourdain, Jr. will make his 142nd career start in Sunday's Champ Car Grand Prix of Portland which will tie Arie Luyendyk for 15th on the Most Starts list.

Jourdain has made eight starts on the winding 1.969-mile Portland road course dating back to his 1996 rookie campaign. His best finish to-date on this circuit is sixth earned in 2002. Last year, the Mexican earned the outside pole finishing 12th.
