Justin optimistic about Grand Prix of Portland

Justin returns to the Portland International Raceway in Oregon this weekend, eager to build on his strong start to the 2006 Champ Car World Series campaign. The Portland event represents unfinished business for Justin and RuSPORT. A year ago Justin took pole position at the sweeping 1.9 mile road course and had built up a commanding lead before retiring with an oil pump failure.

Justin and the team went well at the track when they tested here after the Long Beach race in April, but they're not complacent - series veterans Newman-Haas who have set the pace so far this season are likely to be strong competitors.

Beating Newman-Haas is RuSPORT's top priority and the team's new driver signing Cristiano da Matta joins the team at Portland, replacing A.J. Allmendinger who moves to Forsythe to partner Paul Tracy. Justin is looking forward to working with the Brazilian who took the series title in 2002 and who won in Portland in 2005.
