"We have been struggling a lot this weekend to find a good balance for the car. I still had a problem this morning and we had made a lot of changes. We decided to switch to the back-up car. This car was better and that is good news for tomorrow. We just have to keep working. We found five-tenths from this morning and maybe we can find another five-tenths for tomorrow. At the moment we don't know what the problem was this morning, but at least we made some progress in qualifying."

Tom Anderson, Co-Owner/Managing Director:
"This obviously wasn't the day we were looking for at Portland. In engineering, sometimes you can learn by going the wrong direction. It can give you a better direction for the next day. In reality, Sunday is payday. It will be an interesting day -- 110 laps around Portland can always be very interesting and we are not out of this by any means. It gives the engineers another night to think about things and I'm looking forward to tomorrow."
