To Pick12 Contestants,

As you know Pick12 has been through a few changes as a result of Francisco Diaz's departure to pastures new. I have taken over running the contest and hopefully enhancing it in a few areas.

I have now completed the first stage of the process, with the ability to match all the features of the contest of old. I have also been able to add in some enhancements. If you entered the Road America competition you should have already got a personal e-mail with your results. The Pick12 page at www.Speedcenter.com also has a popularity poll which contains a summary of every-bodies picks. Extra features will be added in the coming weeks.

The latest feature is that you should now get an e-mail response when you submit your picks. The pick processor will parse your entry to check for duplicates and also to confirm your name and e-mail addresses.

If you do not get a mailed response, it will mean either that you typed in an incorrect e-mail address, or that your pick has gone missing. Replies are sent out automatically as soon as they are received, but due to Internet latency, it might take a couple of hours for you to get a response.

It is very important (for my sanity if nothing else) that you always use the same name, and to a lesser extent e-mail address. If you need to change your e-mail address, send mail to:

Pick12Admin@petercoe.vip.best.com

Unfortunately, the one thing that can no longer be supported is the e-mail entry of picks. That might be enabled again next year, but for the moment all entries must be submitted using the Pick12 entry form at SpeedCenter.com.
