"We started the session off with a couple of minor problems with our telemetry,” said Gugelmin. “Once we got that fixed, we really had a pretty good session. We ran full tanks for the entire 2-hour practice, and learned a lot about the car."
“At the start of the session we lost a lot of time because I was shifting a lot,” said Dixon. "I’m happy we worked it out and we’re heading in the right direction. I’m sure if we were running our qualifying setup we could have gained a couple of 10ths and moved up several positions because the times are so close.”
