Mauricio Gugelmin runs a consistent race, finishing in the top-ten after starting 12th on the grid bringing home more points for his PacWest crew. Teammate Scott Dixon, who started 18th on the grid, fell behind after spinning and stalling on turn 12 early on. Dixon ended his day early on lap 38 due to mechanical problems.

MAURICIO GUGELMIN - # 17 NEXTEL PACWEST TOYOTA

Finishing Position: 10th

"I had pretty consistent day," said Gugelmin. "I had a good car except for a little understeer. My engineers developed a great strategy and the crew did a great job with our pit stops, but we just have to concentrate on qualifying better - I'm confident we'll do that. I'm very happy with another top-ten finish and bringing home more points. It's the start of three back-to-back races and now it's time to think about Portland."

SCOTT DIXON - # 18 POWERWARE PANASONIC PACWEST TOYOTA

Finishing Position: DNF (Mechanical)

"It's been a long and disappointing weekend," said Dixon. "Even though we struggled a little with the car the past few days, I felt pretty good going into the race. Obviously, I didn't start well (18th) and then I had an off going into turn 12 early on, which put me back to P23. I was working hard at moving up and was really trying to gain some speed. We made a pit stop, and just as I pulled out we had a problem with the drive shaft and my day was over. We have a couple days to regroup and then it's time to concentrate on Portland."
