FIRST TOP-TEN START FOR CHARLES ZWOLSMAN, RANGER TO START 13TH

Monterrey, Mexico, May 20, 2006 -- Mi-Jack Conquest Racing rookie Charles Zwolsman put in his best qualifying effort this season by posting a lap of 1:15.162 (100.774 mph) which is good for tenth place on the starting grid for tomorrow's Tecate Grand Prix of Monterrey. Andrew Ranger who was sixth in first round qualifying yesterday will be starting in 13th position. The Quebec-native registered a lap time of 1:15.410 (100.443 mph).

"We missed nearly the entire session this morning because of an oil leak on the car. Then we decided to make a change before qualifying. It was okay but there is still work to do on the car. We will keep working hard. Nevertheless this is a positive result for us, tenth, and we are making a step in the right direction."

Will be making his fourth Champ Car start... Won his first Atlantic race in Monterrey, Mexico in 2005 starting on pole... sits 15th in the championship... and 5th in the Rookie of the Year standings... Zwolsman will be participating in only his second Champ Car road course race...

"This morning in practice we had a lot of oversteer on the car and in qualifying we just couldn't find the right balance. We couldn't improve our time that much from first round qualifying but it's going to be a long race. Last year I started 14th and finished second so we will try to do the same thing this year."

Ranger Facts

Will be making his 16th Champ Car start... Andrew's best result came in 2005 in Monterrey when he finished second, giving the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing team their first Champ Car podium... The Quebec-native has finished sixth in the first two races of the season... Ranger is currently fourth in the Championship standings with 40 points...
