Justin qualifies 4th at the Milwaukee Mile

Justin will start from 4th in tomorrow's Time Warner Cable Road Runner 225 at the Milwaukee Mile in Wisconsin. In cool conditions, and with winds gusting up to 22mph, the one mile oval presented even more of a challenge than usual. Justin set his qualifying time of 21.420 seconds (173.445 mph) on the first of his two allocated flying laps, but aborted his second lap due to a fuel surge problem. His team-mate A.J. Allmendinger qualified 3rd and the RuSPORT pair will line up behind a Newman-Haas front row of polesitter Sebastien Bourdais and Bruno Junqueira.

After posting the fastest time of 21.215 in Friday's test session and making further set-up refinements in Saturday morning's practice session Justin is confident that the #9 CDW car will be on the pace for Sunday's race.

"The car felt good," said Justin after the session. "It's just a matter of getting used to the track. You always have to be cautious of the wind, not push the limits too much and leave a little bit in reserve. I was disappointed that we didn't get through the second lap, because I was pushing it hard and the data showed we'd have been quick enough for P2. Hopefully, we can sort out the fuel surge issue and have a good race tomorrow."
