"Time Warner Cable Road Runner" launches sponsorship at The Milwaukee Mile
(West Allis, WI) April 28, 2004 - The Milwaukee Mile is pleased to announce Time Warner Cable and it's Road Runner High Speed Online service will sponsor the return of Champ Car World Series racing at night to the historic speedway on Saturday night, June 5.
The "Time Warner Cable Road Runner 250" will feature an international cast of the world's finest open wheel drivers, led by defending race winner Michel Jourdain, Jr, of Mexico. Jourdain scored his first series victory in the first-ever night race held in series history last May.

Championship auto racing has been held on an annual basis since 1933 at The Milwaukee Mile.

The "Time Warner Cable Road Runner 250" at The Milwaukee Mile holds the distinction of being the only oval track and sole nighttime event on the challenging Champ Car World Series schedule in 2004. The remaining races on the series calendar are to be contested on temporary street courses and permanent road courses in Mexico, Canada, Australia, South Korea, and the United States.
Terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
