Adrian Fernandez on his first IndyCar podium finish:

"We had a great run today. The whole race was based on learning the draft. The draft was the whole thing. If you didn't pay attention, the car got loose easily. For the first 20 laps, I was going flat out. My foot was to the floor. I tried to remember some of the NASCAR driving techniques but basically, I waited for Al and Scott to make a mistake because they were fighting. It was clear I wasn't going to be able to fight with anybody, so after the second-to-last accident, we tried to wait as long as we could to come into the pits so I could unlap myself. But Al and Scott did the same thing. So all I could do was just bring it home safely. For the last six laps, I was only at half throttle. I just wanted to finish the race."
