Justin and RuSPORT focused on Mexico success

This weekend the Champ Car World Series stages the final race of its 2007 season at Mexico City's Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Justin and the #9 CDW-RuSPORT team are determined to finish their final season together on a high note.

Justin knows what it takes to get hooked up around the bumpy 2.7 mile course. He won here in 2005 and, despite an injured wrist, finished second in 2006 after leading most of the race from pole position. "It's a track I really enjoy and I hope we can continue where we left off last year", said Justin. "Mexico City has always been a successful event for us, so we're looking forward to going out and getting pole position and will be trying hard to win the race."

After victory in Assen and another podium finish in Surfers Paradise, Justin is confident of being on the pace when the team hits the track on Friday. Sebastien Bourdais (Newman/Haas/Lanigan) may have sewn up the Champ Car title in Australia, but Justin leads the battle for runner up spot by an eight point margin from Robert Doornbos (Minardi Team USA). "Finishing 2nd in the championship is really important to the whole team", emphasised Justin. "Everyone at RuSPORT is determined to go out on top. On Friday and Saturday we'll be completely focused on going for pole position. If we can do that, we'll have a good shot at the race win and 2nd in the championship."

JW TV on www.justinwilson.co.uk features a pre-race interview with Justin as well as new editions of the popular Tech Focus series about fuel and pitstops.

Practice and first qualifying in Mexico City takes place on Friday, with final qualifying on Saturday and the race itself on Sunday at 7pm UK time (2pm ET). Eurosport 2 has live TV coverage, including a pre-race show at 6.30pm.
