CHAMPCAR/CART: Mexico City: Herdez Competition Friday report

MarioDominguez, #55 Herdez/Lola/ Ford-Cosworth

Mario on provisional qualifying:"Well, we are certainly not satisfied with our performance today. We made a couple of changes to the car today, some helped, some didn't. The track has changed a bit from last year, the surface is much bumpier so we have had to work on our set-up a little more than we would have liked. However we are confident that we know what we need do to the car tonight to make it better for tomorrow. I have a lot of confidence in myself and my team and we will certainly give it our best shot tomorrow."

Ryan Hunter-Reay, #4 Herdez/Lola/Ford-Cosworth

Ryan on provisional qualifying:"We've struggled today as we battled the under steer. As the day progressed, we were able to dial a fraction of the under steer out of the car, but it is still not where it needs to be. We are not there yet, but together with Mario and his crew we are working very hard to maximize the cars for tomorrow."

Keith Wiggins, Co-Owner/Managing Director: "Obviously today we were a bit disappointed with our positions. At the same time, it was a good opportunity to try several things and tomorrow is what counts so I have no doubt we will have the right packages to get us where we should be."
