INDIANAPOLIS (November 6, 2002) - Continuing what has been a concerted effort this season to help teams educate prospective sponsors, Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc., (CART), announced today that it will hold a Business to Business Forum Friday Nov. 15 at 8:30 a.m. The forum will take place at the Hotel Presidente InterContinental Mexico in conjunction with the Gran Premio Telmex/Gigante presented by Banamex/Visa.

Following on the heels of a very successful gathering in Fontana, California, where many key players in the business community attended a similar forum, the Mexico City B2B Forum is designed to provide investors and businesses with a thorough understanding of the financial opportunities that exist in CART. Scheduled speakers at the event include Christopher R. Pook, President and CEO of CART, Jorge Quintanilla, Director, Gigante Racing, and Guillermo Fernandez, Director of Marketing, Telmex.

"CART is taking a leadership position as it pertains to providing a sports marketing environment that is conducive to the creation of new business opportunities," said Mr. Pook. "This B2B Forum, held in conjunction with our Mexico City race, is an excellent opportunity for those companies not currently using our sports marketing platform to come and check us out. It is also a chance to get in on the ground floor with CART and build company awareness as NAFTA increases the abilities of companies to do business throughout North America."

The forum is especially vital to CART's new Latino Marketing Initiative, which is structured to reach out to Spanish-speaking fans, teams, and companies. The series' official website www.cart.com has recently added a new Spanish-language section and now translates all of its press releases to Spanish.
